Elmwood Inn Fine Teas' owner Bruce Richardson also serves as the Tea Master for the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. He was commissioned to design this signature tea for the 100-seat Abigail's Tearoom - named for Abigail Adams - that sits atop the museum in Boston Harbor.

Bruce created this historic blend of black teas to be reminiscent of the Chinese black teas tossed overboard in 1773 by using teas from across the British Empire, including China, India, and Kenya.

This is a versatile blend that appeals to all of our visitors from around the world. If you are a fan of English Breakfast blends - with or without milk - you will love this tea. It also makes a great iced tea.

Let's just say that if the 5-year-old Chinese teas aboard the three East India ships in Boston Harbor on December 16, 1773, had tasted this good, the colonists would never have dumped it into the sea and we would still be flying the British flag here in America!

Also available in pyramid sachets.

The perfect alternative to coffee!

I've been trying to find a tea that gives me the same caffeine as coffee in the morning, and this blend gives me just the jolt I need to stay awake! And, of course, it doesn't hurt that it has a strong taste :) another one that pairs well with a bit of sugar if you are feeling like a treat!

Wonderful

Picked up a canister of this from the museum in Boston and was amazed on how smooth it was, no bitter after taste. Had to go online to find out how to order more.

Love this tea!

Since I'm learning that coffee is no longer my friend due to its high acidity content, I've been obsessed with tea, preferably loose leaf. I was so exited to visit Boston and take the tour at the Boston Tea Party Museum. I bought the sample box of 5 teas. Abigail's Blend and English Breakfast Tea have replaced my coffee in the mornings. I brew for 4-5 minutes with a touch of milk and sugar. Since beginning my tea journey, my joint pain and inflammation has reduced considerably!! My hands do not hurt as bad, and my digestion has also improved. I can't wait to learn more and try different varieties of tea from Elmwood Inn.
