This is not your grandmother’s cup of tea - unless your granny was from Kentucky!

The inspiration for Bourbon Black Tea was conceived in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, where the commonwealth’s oldest tea company, Elmwood Inn Fine Teas, just happens to be surrounded by the world’s greatest collection of Bourbon distilleries.

Even teetotalers will recognize the intoxicating aromas of Kentucky’s signature spirit as soon as the boiling water hits the leaves and releases delicious notes of caramel and vanilla. Lingering in the background is a subtle hint of char delivered by a bit of smoky Lapsang Souchong added by Elmwood’s Master Tea Blender Bruce Richardson.

Earthy Yunnan black tea, reminiscent of a morning on a Kentucky farm, completes the complex flavor profile of this one-of-a-kind blend.

This is the perfect gift for your tea-drinking fan who’ll be inspired to say, “Make mine a double!”

Bourbon tea

I received a small canister of the bourbon tea as a gift. I love it hot with a little honey in it. Perfect for an evening watching TV getting ready to order more for my self and as gifts Thank you for such a wonderful flavor

Amazing tea

This is a fun tea. When I made it hot, it reminded me of the smell of pipe smoke! Yeah, weird huh? But it actually has a wonderful earthy flavor, not fruity or sweet at all. My husband decided to try it as an iced tea and it has a very different flavor when cold. It's probably the vanilla and caramel that comes through when it's chilled. It's a definite winner for us served hot in the Fall and Winter and served cold in Spring and Summer!

My New Favorite Tea

I bought a can of this at the Boston Tea Party Museum in Boston and it's pretty much my favorite tea ever. I love it and question the tastebuds of the people who gave this a bad review.
